Coldins Oy launches a revolutionary innovation for building cooling and strengthens its board for international growth.
Coldins insulation contains 70% air, which reduces the need for raw materials. The
insulation is as effective as traditional materials, but at night in a desert climate it
conducts heat away more than four times more effectively. This reduces electricity
consumption for cooling and improves living comfort.
Coldins is starting a groundbreaking pilot project in the United Arab Emirates. The
project will build test houses insulated with both traditional insulation and Coldins’
product. The houses will be equipped with comprehensive temperature and energy
consumption measurement systems. The collected data will serve as final proof of
the product’s functionality and energy saving potential in hot climates, such as desert
climates.
To support international growth, Coldins has elected three new distinguished
professionals to its board: Saara Suurla, Jarmo Räihä and Timo Lindstedt.
Saara Suurla has a solid experience in strategic management, business
development and export. She has a strong background in sustainability and
management consulting, and she brings her innovative business planning strategies
and skills to guide successful business transformations. Jarmo Räihä is an
experienced angel investor. He guides companies through transformation phases
and provides strategic insights that promote growth. Timo Lindstedt works as an
investor and private banker.
“I am very excited to have such a strong board of directors supporting Coldins’
growth. Everyone brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the company.
Strengthening the board of directors also supports the success of the new share
offering, as we are looking for visionary partners to take our groundbreaking solution
to the international market,” says Baptiest Mol, CEO of Coldins Oy
